Gowtam Tinnanuri, Vijay Deverakonda’s film titled ‘Kingdom’, to release this summer

The collaboration between actor Vijay Deverakonda and director Gowtam Tinnanuri, of Jersey and Malli Raava fame, has been anticipated for a while. The film’s team unveiled the film’s title — Kingdom — and its teaser with Jr. NTR’s voiceover in Telugu, Suriya’s voiceover in Tamil and Ranbir Kapoor’s voiceover in Hindi. Kingdom is Vijay’s 12th film and is scheduled to arrive in theatres on May 30 in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

Without giving away the storyline, the teaser offers glimpses into the gritty scenario and a prison inhabited by Vijay’s character.

After the romance drama Malli Raava and the sports family drama Jersey, Gowtam ventures into an adrenaline-packed action drama with Kingdom. Anirudh Ravichander, who composed for Jersey, is teaming up with the director again for Kingdom.

Naveen Nooli, who won the National Award for Best Editing for Jersey, will handle the editing, while Avinash Kolla handles production design and the film’s cinematography is by Jomon T. John and Girish Gangadharan.

Kingdom is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya for Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas in collaboration with Srikara Studios. After Kingdom, Vijay will be working with directors Rahul Sankrityan and Ravi Kiran Kolla.
