Armie Hammer admits he took ‘a bite out’ of a living animal’s heart

Armie Hammer is making another shocking confession.

Years after being accused of cannibalism in 2021, the Hollywood alum, 38, revealed that he once ate an animal’s “warm” heart as part of a hunting “tradition.”

“You don’t eat the whole heart,” he explained on the Tuesday episode of “The Louis Theroux Podcast.” “One of the traditions is you take a bite out of the heart.”

Hammer recalled being “goad[ed] on” by his friends who had joined him on the hunting expedition.

“It’s sort of like an almost overly-charged male rite of passage when you go hunting for the first time,” he explained. “Everyone that I know who went hunting for their first time had to do something similar.”

The “Call Me by Your Name” actor later clarified why he participated in the act, sharing it was “not for the purpose of any cannibalism or any sexual gratification.”

Hammer, who shares daughter Harper and son Ford with his ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers, confirmed that he never ate people as he addressed the 2021 allegations during the conversation.

“You know what you have to do to actually be a cannibal? You have to actually eat human flesh. So no,” he firmly stated.

Hammer’s ex-girlfriends, Courtney Vucekovich and Julia Morrison, both alleged in the 2022 documentary “House of Hammer” that the celebrity sent them messages detailing cannibalistic fantasies.

In 2023, after another woman’s rape accusation, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office confirmed that Hammer, who has since denied any allegations of wrongdoing, was under investigation.

Hammer was never charged as there was not sufficient evidence for a case of sexual assault.

Hammer addressed the alleged text messages on the podcast. “Sometimes when you’re involved with a person … and you guys are having sex and you are a bit of a provocateur … it’s fun to ruffle feathers, and it’s fun to push the envelope little by little,” he said.

“Did I ever have any intention of cutting anything off of anyone or eating anything off of anyone? No,” continued Hammer. “That was never really anything that I wanted.”

In July, Hammer appeared on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” and reiterated that he never sexually assaulted anyone. However, the star did poke fun at the cannibal claims in December when he starred as “Kannibal Ken” in the music video for “Typical Squeeze” by the English artist Georgie Leahy.

Hammer appeared in the pop track about a rebellious woman who is not a “safe bet, good girl or typical squeeze.”
