Who is President Trump sitting with at the Super Bowl?
(NEXSTAR) — In addition to the history that may be made on the field, the U.S. will see a first in a seating box at the Caesars Superdome during Super Bowl LIX: a sitting president in attendance.
President Donald Trump arrived at the Superdome roughly an hour before kickoff between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.
He waved to fans, shook hands with Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones, and participated in a meet-and-greet with this year’s honorary coin toss participants, including family members of victims in the New Years attack in New Orleans, city police officers and other emergency personnel.
Afterward, Trump made his way to his suite.

Before kickoff, Trump was seen speaking with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson, and his daughter, Ivanka Trump.
Trump’s son, Eric, and his wife, Lara, were also seen standing next to Benson during the national anthem. To the right of Trump was Ivanka Trump and her son, Theodore. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) were also seen in the suite.
Trump traveled from Palm Beach, Florida, for the Super Bowl in New Orleans. He was joined by some of his children, as well as Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) and GOP Sens. Dave McCormick (Pa.), Graham, John Barrasso (Wyo.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Katie Britt (Ala.), Tommy Tuberville (Ala.), Roger Marshall (Kan.) and Eric Schmitt (Mo.), according to The Hill.
In his interview with Fox News’s Bret Baier — filmed Saturday but aired Sunday — Trump predicted the Chiefs would win but noted that “Philadelphia has a fantastic game,” adding that “it’s going to be a great game.”
Trump went on to call himself “a big fan of both teams.”
